The 33-kilometer stretch is also known as the "Ten Thousand Feet Salt Bridge". The salt content in the air of Qarhan Salt Lake area is high, and it is easy to form salt pollution on the catenary equipment of railway traction power supply, resulting in line trip, and even a large area of power failure, which induces traffic safety accidents.
